L-com US | This L-com box is a rugged weatherproof enclosure that is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, and they can ship on the same day. Constructed from 16ga. Brushed 304 Stainless Steel that provides superior protection against corrosion, chemicals and wet conditions. The enclosure is constructed with UV protected and impact resistant material to ensure protection in any environment. The lid includes two vents with installed rain guards and filters. The integrated welded mounting flange allows the enclosure to be mounted directly to any flat wall surface provided proper screws are used into secure studs. The enclosure can also be mounted to a wide range of pole diameters with one of our optional pole mounting hardware kits. The fully gasketed lid features a 316 stainless steel removable hinge pin that allows for quick removal & reattachment with only a pair of pliers. The enclosure comes with a 304 stainless steel latch with padlock eye allowing you to secure the enclosure from tampering. Mounting Plate The aluminum mounting plate included with the L-com NBSS141207-1HFA2 features standard surge protected duplex 120 VAC outlets and a terminal block for easy hook up to externally provided line power. The enclosure also features holes for two N-Bulkhead Lightning Protectors or Connectors, a grounding lug and cable conduit connector. Heating & Cooling To help ensure trouble-free operation of electronic equipment, proper operating temperatures inside an enclosure need to be controlled. With the built-in Heater and Cooling fan, internal temperatures can be better maintained. This model is ideal in hot and/or cold environments. For Heating the L-com NBSS141207-1HFA2 includes a thermostat-controlled 200W heater. The heater does not require the use of any of the AC outlets, leaving them all available for your equipment. No extra room for the heater is required since it is mounted underneath the plate. For Cooling the L-com NBSS141207-1HFA2 model includes a thermostat-controlled 16.4W fan. The high airflow, low noise fan used allows warm air to be actively pushed out the top vent while the lower vent passively pulls in outside air into the enclosure. Filters for both ports prevent foreign objects or debris from entering the enclosure. Like the heater, the cooling fan does not require the use of any of the AC outlets, leaving them all available for your equipment. User Adjustable Thermostat The 1HFA2 series features an adjustable thermostat that incorporates two separate thermostats, allowing the independent control of heating and cooling. The thermostat provides a temperature range of +14°F to +122°F for the heating and +68°F to +176°F for the cooling systems with a switching difference of 12°F ±7°F tolerance. The heat thermostat features a Normally Closed (NC) circuit. When the temperature rises to the temperature set on the heat adjustment dial the circuit opens which turns off the heater. When the temperature falls below the temperature set on the heat adjustment dial the circuit closes which turns on the heater. The cooling thermostat features a Normally Open (NO) circuit. When the temperature rises to the temperature set on the cooling adjustment dial the circuit closes which turns on the cooling fan. When the temperature falls below the temperature set on the cooling adjustment dial the circuit opens which turns off the cooling fan. Recommended Temperature Setting for the Heater should only be between 14º to 40ºFRecommended Temperature Setting for the Fan should only be between 80º to 120ºF Setting the Heater too high and the Fan too low can result in a conflict wherein the unit might try to continue to heat while simultaneously trying to cool it. The L-com HGX-PMT series of pole mounting kits allow the populated enclosure to be securely mounted to a variety of different size poles.
