  • Small Form Factor 12W Ultra Wide Range Power Supply for Protection Relays - Reference Design
    TIDA-00227: This small form factor, 12W power supply solution for protection relays handles an ultra-wide range of both AC and DC inputs making it a suitable platform to power a variety of lower power protection relays that need to be placed in a small housing. The power supply is designed to output industry standard voltages required in protection relays while also providing excellent line and load regulation. This solution has been engineered for high wattage with good efficiency and has also been pre-compliance tested for IEC61000-4 (EFT and Surge) and CISPR 11 Class A (Interference).
  • Shunt based Ground Fault Protection for Inverters Powered from 220Vac Supply Reference Design
    TIDA-00442: The TIDA-00442 TI design provides a reference solution for detecting ground fault in inverter based drives. Inverter current is measured on both DC positive and DC negative bus using shunt resistors. Current on DC positive bus is measured using INA170 which is powered by low side switched buck converter. Current on DC negative bus is sensed using precision opamp’s. The difference between the two measured currents is compared against a fixed threshold to determine the ground fault condition using high speed comparators.

    PMP9491: PMP9491 is a 30W highly efficient and compact Portable Speaker/Audio Boom Box reference Design which can be used in 15W +15W Stereo or 30W Woofer Applications. The Power Source for the Design is 1 or 2 Li ion in Series . The design is broadly divided into three main stages:

    TIDA-00239: Active Balance chipset for use in large format Lithium-ion batteries that provides monitoring, balancing, and communications. With precise and robust active balancing, the Active Balance BMS is capable of bidirection power transfer at each cell. Each EM1401EVM can manage 6 to 14 cells (60V max) for Li-ion battery applications. The EM1401EVM modules can be stacked up to 1300V. The system provides fast cell balancing, diagnostics, and module to controller communication. Independent protection circuitry is also provided.
  • 4x 16W LED Driver Reference Design
    PMP10222: The PMP10222 reference design provides a solution for 4 individual, synchronizable and dimmable LED Drivers, which convert an input voltage of 30V-40V to 1A output current with a maximum output voltage of 16V.
  • 30W Ultra Wide Range Power Supply for Protection Relays Reference Design
    TIDA-00127: This power supply solution for Protection Relays handles an ultra-wide range of both AC (88-276V AC) and DC (24-250V DC) inputs making it a suitable platform to power a variety of Protection Relays. The power supply is designed to output industry standard voltages (such as +/- 12V and isolated 6.75V) required in many Protection Relays while also providing excellent line and load regulation (< +/- 3%). This solution has been engineered for high wattage (30W) with good efficiency (up to 78%) and has also been pre-compliance tested for IEC61000-4 (EFT and Surge) and CISPR 11 Class A (Interference).
