MT4067-10 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Micron recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and to keep the signal traces as short as possible. Additionally, it's recommended to use a decoupling capacitor (e.g., 0.1uF) between VCC and GND, and to place it as close to the device as possible.

  • The MT4067-10 has a thermal pad on the bottom of the package, which should be connected to a thermal plane on the PCB. Ensure good thermal conductivity by using a thermal interface material (e.g., thermal tape or thermal grease) between the device and the heat sink or thermal plane.

  • The MT4067-10 is rated for operation from -40°C to 85°C (industrial temperature range). However, it's recommended to operate the device within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C for optimal performance and reliability.

  • To ensure data integrity, it's recommended to follow a controlled power-up and power-down sequence. During power-up, VCC should be applied before the clock signal, and during power-down, the clock signal should be stopped before VCC is removed.   • The MT4067-10 can operate with a clock frequency up to 133 MHz. The recommended clock duty cycle is 40-60% to ensure proper operation. However, the device can tolerate a duty cycle range of 30-70%.
