  • STMicroelectronics provides a recommended PCB layout in the application note AN2863, which includes guidelines for component placement, routing, and grounding to minimize EMI.

  • According to STMicroelectronics, a decoupling capacitor of 10uF to 22uF should be placed as close as possible to the TDA7850's power pins, with a voltage rating of at least 16V. Additionally, a 100nF capacitor can be added in parallel to filter high-frequency noise.

  • The maximum allowed voltage on the TDA7850's input pins is 12V, but it's recommended to keep the input voltage below 10V to ensure reliable operation and prevent damage to the device.
