The highlight of this design is the simple hardware and minimal software installation requirements on the PC for evaluation. TI’s PLC I/O module reference designs have complete signal chain for the PLC I/O modules. Evaluating the signal chain requires examination of the critical performance parameters of the hardware. Data collection, processing, and display are the typical functions required for evaluation. The easy-to-use GUI accelerates the performance of the I/O module evaluation process and reduces time to market.
  • 70V, 60mA White LED Driver with Dimming Control and Automatic Thermal Scale-Back Reference Design
TIDA-00660: Compact, High Efficienct (>90%) White LED Driver. Drives a 440 lumen White LED at up to 70V at up to 60mA from a 6V to 18V source. Includes voltage controlled dimming with automatic thermal to current scale-back for preventing high LED temperatures. Designed for genral purpose LED lighting in 6V to 18V DC powered systems.
  • TIDA-00839 Magnetic Tamper Detection Using Low-Power Hall Effect Sensors Reference Design | TI.com
TIDA-00839: Magnetic tampering can paralyze any transformer in an energy measurement system, which may potentially lead to the system being unable to be powered properly or unable to correctly register the energy consumed by a load. This design implements a Class 0.2 three-phase energy measurement system that detects magnetic tampering using hall sensors. Magnetic tamper detection is enabled when running from both main and backup power sources. Methods are used to reduce the current consumption of the hall sensors to increase battery life when running from the backup power source.
