  • The maximum operating temperature range for the UCC2808D-2G4 is -40°C to 125°C.

  • To ensure proper biasing, connect the VCC pin to a stable 12V to 15V power supply, and decouple the VCC pin to GND with a 10uF capacitor. Also, ensure the input voltage (VIN) is within the recommended range of 12V to 15V.

  • For optimal performance, use a multi-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and keep the input and output traces as short as possible. Also, place the input and output capacitors close to the device, and use a common ground point for the input and output returns.

  • Choose input and output capacitors with low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and a voltage rating that exceeds the maximum input voltage. A 10uF to 22uF ceramic or film capacitor is recommended for the input, and a 10uF to 47uF ceramic or film capacitor is recommended for the output.

  • The maximum output current capability of the UCC2808D-2G4 is 1.5A, but it can be limited by the thermal performance of the device and the PCB design.
