  • Power Solution for an Engineering Equipment Fuel Injector
    PMP7967: The PMP7967 converts a DC input of 6V-42V to an output of 90V at 1.5A. The design uses four interleaved LM5122 boost controllers with each controller switching at 100kHz. The resulting 4-phase boost converter has a ripple frequency of 400kHz. Freqeucny can also be synchronized to an external signal. Four 330μF aluminum electrolytic capacitors are used at the output to support sudden load current demands in the fuel injector solenoids.

    PMP9104: This four switch buck-boost converter functions as both a buck or a boost, with a smooth transition between modes. It delivers a 28V (typical) output voltage at 2-3A continuous (4.5A peak) from a 22V-32V input.
  • Power Solution for an Automotive Fuel Injector
    PMP7966: PMP7966 is a 4-phase boost converter rated for 52V output at 2.5A from an input voltage of 6V to 42V. This design uses LM5122 boost controllers at a switching frequency of 100 kHz each phase, resulting in 400 kHz input and output ripple. 680μF aluminum electrolytic capacitors are used at the output of each phase, providing hold-up to support large transient currents.
