  • The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VDD before applying VSS. This ensures that the internal circuitry is properly biased and prevents any potential latch-up conditions.

  • To ensure that the switches are properly turned off during power-down, it is recommended to sequence the power-down in the reverse order of power-up, i.e., remove VSS before removing VDD. This ensures that the internal circuitry is properly discharged and the switches are turned off.

  • The maximum voltage that can be applied to the analog inputs of the ADG406BPZ is VDD + 0.3V. Exceeding this voltage may cause damage to the device.

  • To minimize the on-resistance of the ADG406BPZ switches, it is recommended to operate the device at the highest possible supply voltage (VDD) and to keep the analog input voltage as close to VDD as possible.
