A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate analog ground plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital grounds separate and connect them at a single point. Use a low-ESR capacitor for decoupling and place it close to the device.
Use a low-noise, low-impedance voltage source for the reference input. Ensure the input voltage is within the recommended range (2.7V to 5.5V). Use a 0.1uF decoupling capacitor between the REF pin and GND.
A simple RC filter (e.g., 1kΩ and 10nF) can be used to filter the output noise. For more aggressive filtering, a 2nd-order Butterworth filter can be implemented using resistors and capacitors.
Use a shielded enclosure, keep the device away from high-frequency sources, and use a ground plane to reduce electromagnetic interference. Use a ferrite bead or a common-mode choke to filter the power supply lines.
The device has a thermal pad on the bottom. Use a thermal interface material (e.g., thermal tape or thermal grease) to improve heat transfer to the PCB or a heat sink. Ensure good airflow around the device.
