  • A 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. Keep the device away from heat sources and ensure good airflow.

  • Use a low-impedance PCB layout, minimize the distance between the sense lines and the device, and ensure the sense lines are twisted and shielded to reduce noise.

  • A 10uF to 22uF ceramic capacitor with X7R or X5R dielectric is recommended, placed as close to the VCC pin as possible.

  • The OCP threshold is set internally. If an overcurrent condition is detected, the device will limit the output current. Ensure your system can handle the OCP response and implement a suitable fault detection and recovery mechanism.

  • The device is rated for operation from -40°C to 125°C. However, the optimal operating temperature range is between 0°C to 85°C for maximum reliability and performance.
