A 4-layer PCB with a dedicated thermal layer and a solid ground plane is recommended. Ensure a minimum of 2 oz copper thickness and a thermal relief pattern under the device.
Use a secure mounting method, such as a screw or adhesive, and consider adding a vibration-dampening material (e.g., silicone) between the device and the mounting surface.
A 10-22 μF, X7R or X5R dielectric, 16-25V capacitor is recommended. Ensure the capacitor is placed close to the device and has a low ESL (Equivalent Series Inductance).
Verify the EN pin is properly connected and driven. Check for voltage levels, noise, and signal integrity. Ensure the EN pin is not left floating, and consider adding a pull-up or pull-down resistor if necessary.
The maximum allowed voltage on the output pins is 5.5V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.
