A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the power traces short and wide, and use a common ground point for the input and output capacitors.

Monitor the input voltage, output voltage, and output current to ensure they are within the specified ranges. Also, ensure the device is operated within the recommended temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.

A 10uF to 22uF X5R or X7R ceramic capacitor is recommended for the input capacitor. The capacitor should be placed as close to the VIN pin as possible.

The output voltage ripple can be calculated using the formula: ΔVout = (Iout * ESL) / (Cout * fsw), where ESL is the equivalent series inductance of the output capacitor, Cout is the output capacitance, and fsw is the switching frequency.

The EN (enable) pin is used to enable or disable the device. Connect the EN pin to a logic high (VIN or VOUT) to enable the device, or connect it to a logic low (GND) to disable the device.
