XP Power recommends a PCB layout with a large copper area for heat dissipation, and a minimum of 2oz copper thickness. A thermal via array under the module is also recommended.

Ensure that the input voltage is within the specified range, and that the input capacitance is sufficient to handle the inrush current. A soft-start circuit can also be used to reduce the inrush current.

The maximum allowable capacitance on the output of the ECS60US24 is 220uF. Exceeding this value may cause instability or oscillation.
