LED7708TR Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The maximum current that can be sunk by each channel is 100mA, according to the datasheet. However, it's recommended to limit the current to 80mA to ensure reliable operation.

To ensure proper power supply, connect the VCC pin to a stable 3.3V or 5V power supply, and decouple it with a 10uF capacitor to ground. Also, make sure to connect the EN pin to a logic high to enable the device.

The REXT resistor sets the internal oscillator frequency. A smaller REXT value increases the oscillator frequency, while a larger value decreases it. The recommended value is 240kΩ for a 2.2MHz oscillator frequency.

The LED7708TR is programmed through the I2C interface. You can use a microcontroller or a dedicated I2C programmer to send commands and data to the device. Refer to the datasheet for the I2C protocol and register map.
