  • The LMC7660 is rated for operation up to 125°C. However, the device's performance may degrade at high temperatures, and the output voltage may drop. It is recommended to derate the output current and voltage at high temperatures.

  • To protect the LMC7660 from input voltage transients, it is recommended to use a voltage clamp or a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode at the input. This will help to limit the voltage spikes and prevent damage to the device.
