  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate analog ground plane is recommended. Keep analog and digital traces separate, and use a common mode filter to reduce noise.

  • Calibrate the device using the on-chip calibration registers. Ensure good thermal contact between the device and the PCB. Use a thermocouple or other temperature reference for accurate temperature measurement.

  • The maximum allowed voltage on the analog input pins is VCC + 0.3V. Exceeding this voltage can damage the device.

  • Use a low-pass filter on the analog input pins, and a common mode filter on the power supply lines. Keep the device away from high-frequency sources and use a shielded enclosure if necessary.

  • Power up the device in the following sequence: VCC, AVCC, and then the digital supply (DVCC). Ensure that the power supplies are stable before configuring the device.
