  • The maximum current rating of the TPS2490DGSR is 2A, but it can be limited by the thermal performance of the PCB and the ambient temperature.

  • To ensure stability, follow the layout guidelines in the datasheet, use a low-ESR output capacitor, and add a 10nF-100nF ceramic capacitor between the VIN and GND pins.

  • The EN (enable) pin is used to turn the device on and off. Connect it to VIN to enable the device, or to GND to disable it. You can also use a logic signal to control the EN pin.

  • The output voltage can be adjusted by using a resistive divider network between the VOUT and ADJ pins. The ratio of the resistors determines the output voltage.

  • The minimum input voltage required for the TPS2490DGSR is 2.7V, but it's recommended to use a minimum of 3V to ensure proper operation.
