A symmetrical layout with a central ground plane and minimal signal trace length is recommended. Allegro provides a reference layout in their application note AN296055.
Use a low-impedance current sense resistor (CSR) and ensure the CSR is placed close to the IC. Also, use a Kelvin connection to the CSR to minimize parasitic inductance.
The maximum allowable voltage on the VCC pin is 5.5V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.
Use a low-pass filter or a capacitor to filter out high-frequency noise. Also, consider using a shielded cable or a twisted pair to minimize electromagnetic interference.
The A1120ELHLT-T is rated for operation up to 150°C. However, the device's accuracy and reliability may degrade at high temperatures. Consult Allegro's application notes for thermal management guidelines.
