A 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. Keep the device away from heat sources and ensure good airflow.
Use a low-impedance PCB layout, minimize the distance between the sense lines and the device, and ensure the sense lines are twisted and shielded to reduce noise.
A 10uF to 22uF ceramic capacitor with X7R or X5R dielectric is recommended, placed as close to the VCC pin as possible.
The OCP threshold is set internally. If an overcurrent condition is detected, the device will limit the output current. Ensure your system can handle the OCP response and implement a suitable fault detection and recovery mechanism.
The device is rated for operation from -40°C to 125°C. However, the optimal operating temperature range is between 0°C to 85°C for maximum reliability and performance.
