  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the high-frequency signals away from the power plane and use a common mode choke to filter the power supply.

  • Monitor the junction temperature (TJ) and ensure it stays within the recommended range (-40°C to 150°C). Also, ensure the input voltage (VIN) is within the recommended range (1.8V to 5.5V) and the output current (IOUT) does not exceed the maximum rating (1A).

  • A 10uF to 22uF X5R or X7R ceramic capacitor is recommended for the input capacitor (CIN). This helps to filter the input voltage and reduce noise.

  • Choose an output capacitor (COUT) with a value between 10uF to 47uF, and an ESR of 10mΩ to 50mΩ. A low-ESR ceramic or tantalum capacitor is recommended to minimize voltage ripple and ensure stability.

  • The EN (enable) pin is used to enable or disable the device. Connect EN to VIN to enable the device, or connect it to GND to disable it. Use a pull-up resistor (1kΩ to 10kΩ) to ensure the EN pin is not left floating.
