  • The maximum cable length for the 1-Wire interface is 100 meters, but it can be extended up to 300 meters using repeaters.

  • To ensure reliable communication, use a pull-up resistor between the 1-Wire bus and VCC, and keep the bus capacitance below 750 pF. Also, use a 1-Wire bus master that can handle the capacitive loading.

  • Yes, the DS2413P+T&R can be used in a multi-drop configuration, but each device must have a unique address, and the 1-Wire bus master must be able to handle the increased bus capacitance.

  • The DS2413P+T&R has a built-in power-on reset and brown-out detection circuitry. The device will reset when the supply voltage falls below 2.7V and will remain in reset until the voltage rises above 3.3V.

  • The typical current consumption of the DS2413P+T&R is 1.5 mA in active mode and 1 μA in standby mode.
