  • The TL3845D can operate from -40°C to 125°C, but the maximum junction temperature (TJ) should not exceed 150°C.

  • The minimum input voltage required for the TL3845D is 8.5V, but it's recommended to use a minimum of 10V to ensure proper operation and to account for voltage drops in the circuit.

  • While the TL3845D can be used in switch-mode power supplies, it's not recommended for high-current applications (>5A) due to its limited drive capability and thermal constraints. For high-current applications, consider using a more suitable controller like the TL3842 or TL3843.

  • The output voltage (Vout) can be calculated using the formula: Vout = Vref * (1 + R1/R2), where Vref is the internal reference voltage (2.5V), R1 is the feedback resistor, and R2 is the divider resistor. Make sure to choose the correct values for R1 and R2 to achieve the desired output voltage.
