  • The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VDD first, followed by VREF, and then the digital inputs. This ensures proper device operation and prevents latch-up or other unexpected behavior.

  • To ensure accurate voltage reference output, it is essential to decouple the VREF pin with a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor to GND, and also to use a low-noise, low-impedance power supply for VDD. Additionally, the VREF pin should be bypassed with a 10uF capacitor to GND for improved noise rejection.

  • The maximum capacitive load that can be driven by the MCP48FEB28-20E/ST's DAC output is 200pF. Exceeding this limit may cause instability or oscillations in the output signal.
