L-com Inc In stock and ready to ship today, L-com's Cat6a, 10 position, ix Industrial plugs and receptacles are designed for high speed applications where tough, shielded connectors are required where an ordinary RJ45 wouldn't cut it. The IXP-C2628 series 10gig ix Industrial connectors are next generation Ethernet plugs that are 75% smaller than a typical RJ45. This allows for parallel 10mm pitch mounting which is ideal for daisy-chaining and connector dense applications. They have durable metal shells with high EMC resistance, a robust rating of 5,000 mating cycles and up to 10gigbit through-put for Category 6a or 7 use. High resistance to vibration and motion along with a lockdown pins contribute to a 25N disengage force which allows ix connectors to function in spaces where a standard RJ45 would fail. IXP-C2628-A is a crimp type ix Industrial plug/male with A type keying. It can be terminated to wire gauges in the of range of 26 to 28AWG. The ix Industrial connectors meet IEC 61076-3-124 standards and are recognized as an official Machine Vision connector. 10g throughput will handle up to Category 6a or 7 applications and is backwards compatible with Category 5e and Category 6 use. Hand tool HT-IXP is recommended to crimp both the cable clamp and IDC contacts on the IXP-C series. ix Industrial connectors are idea for use in industrial environments as their small, durable and robust form factor along with high-speed transmission and PoE properties contribute to smart manufacturing and equipment evolution beyond RJ45. IXP-C2628-B is a crimp type ix Industrial plug/male with A type keying. It can be terminated to wire gauges in the of range of 26 to 28AWG.
